If you're keen to mix it up but don't want to over complicate it this DIY Mix recipe is easy to follow and tastes amazing! We suggest it as a fun school holiday activity with the kids. They can do some mashing and rolling and you could just supervise....or help perfect the perfect ball shape 😆Â

Choc Chip Chia Coconut Protein Balls
Ingredients
- 1 packet of FUNCH Choccy Chia Protein Ball Mix
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup choc chips
- shredded coconut
Method
- Place the pitted dates, coconut oil and water together in a heat proof dish, and microwave in 30 seconds blasts, until the coconut oil has melted
- Mash the wet ingredients until it creates a paste
- Pour the DIY Mix into a big bowl and create a well
- Pour the paste into the middle of the well then stir in the DIY Mix
- Once combined, fold in the choc chips
- Using your hands roll approximately 1 tablespoon scoops of mixture into tight balls and roll into shredded coconut
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes until set and enjoy!
